The University of Southampton is offering the Nigeria Excellence Scholarships of £4,000 off tuition fees to new international postgraduate students from Nigeria applying for an in-person postgraduate master’s programme.

Benefits

The £4,000 is available as a tuition fee reduction on the first year of study.

Requirements

To get this scholarship you must:

• be a citizen of Nigeria whose residency is in Nigeria who would be eligible to pay the overseas tuition fee
• have a conditional or unconditional offer to study any in-person, full-time, postgraduate master’s programme
• pay your tuition fee deposit by Tuesday 30 June 2026

University of Southampton determine residency as where you have been living for a 3-year period or longer before the start of the course.

This does not include where you are living for study purposes, if it is somewhere different from your place of permanent residency.
