Successful students will receive a total of £4,000, paid in instalments* throughout years one, two and three. This additional support will help students focus on their studies and assist with budgeting. All eligible self-funded students will be short listed and considered. This information is for UK/Home students applying to study at Northumbria University on a Full-Time Undergraduate course in the academic year 2024/25.
Northumbria University, officially the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, is a university located in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England. A former polytechnic, it was established as one of the new universities in 1992. It is a member of the University Alliance and the second university of Newcastle.
Successful applicants will receive a total of GBP 4,000, paid in installments over three years of undergraduate study. Payments will be made as follows: GBP 335 (25%) by the end of November 2024, GBP 335 (25%) by the end of February 2025, and GBP 665 (50%) by the end of May 2025. The award is provided on an annual basis, subject to the condition that the student progresses to the next year of study.
