Queen's University Belfast International Office Postgraduate Taught Scholarship 2024

This award is exclusively for new International students beginning their first year of full-time postgraduate taught study at Queen's University Belfast in the academic year 2023/24 who meet the conditions of their academic offer.

Year one award of £2000 (fee rate 1) or £3000 (fee rate 2). Queen's Business School postgraduate taught programmes will not be considered for this scholarship.

No separate application for this scholarship is required. If you are holding an offer for an eligible programme and meet the criteria as set out in these terms & conditions, you will automatically be awarded an International Office Postgraduate Taught Scholarship upon enrolment.

Aim and Benefits of Queen's University Belfast Postgraduate Scholarship

  • Scholarship value: Partial Funding, up to GBP 3,000.

Requirements for Queen's University Belfast Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification

  • Only fresh overseas students are eligible to apply for the overseas Office Postgraduate Taught Scholarship.
  • Prior to the start of study, students must have fulfilled any academic and language requirements specified in their offer letter and hold an offer for a spot on a full-time postgraduate taught program at the Queen's University Belfast campus.
  • To be eligible for this reduction, students must be categorized as international fee-paying students who are paying the entire international tuition charge amount. Applicants for the International Office Postgraduate Taught Scholarship must not be GB or NI fee-paying students.
  • The reduction is taken off of the gross tuition fees at the time of enrollment and is only available for the first year of study.
  • Note:

    The following programs are excluded from eligibility for the International Office Postgraduate Taught Scholarship:

  •  Postgraduate: PG Certificate and PG Diploma programs, MTh Theology, All Queen's Management Postgraduate Taught programmes
  •  ALL Distance Learning programs, foundation degree programs and non-standard fee courses, including part-time programs.
