Aim and Benefits of University of Warwick PhD Scholarship

• The full payment of Home (UK) tuition fees (worth approximately £4,925).
• A tax-free maintenance stipend in line with UKRI rates, of approximately £20,140 per annum.

Requirements for University of Warwick PhD Scholarship Qualification

• Applicants for a School of Engineering Postgraduate Scholarship must be applying for a MPhil/PhD within the School, to begin in October 2025.
• Applicants must be eligible for home fees (typically UK national). International fees will not be covered.
• Applicants may apply to study any engineering discipline that is aligned with a School of Engineering academic supervisor.

How to Apply

Stage 1. Apply for admission for your MPhil/PhD in Engineering and obtain your 7-digit ID number.

You should aim to have your application for admission submitted well in advance to receive your ID number and to secure your place.

Stage 2. Submit your scholarship application by the 24th January 2025. You will need the following:

• Your University of Warwick 7-digit ID number
• A CV (maximum 2 pages). You may supplement this with a short statement as to how you meet the "Person and Preparedness" descriptors.
• A Research Proposal (maximum 3 pages). You may supplement this with a short statement as to how you meet the "Project and Place" descriptors
