If you're successful, you'll get £2,000 per year over 3 years of study. If you're studying BSc (Hons) Business Accounting and successfully receive this award, you'll get £1,500 per year over 4 years of study.
Requirements
General Eligibility for All Applicants (UK and International/EU):
- Academic Performance: You must achieve AAA at A-level (or an equivalent qualification). Applicants who exceed AAA (e.g., have higher grades) and/or have supplementary qualifications (such as an EPQ - Extended Project Qualification) will receive additional consideration.
- Social Responsibility Contribution: You must be able to demonstrate a significant contribution and commitment to social responsibility. This is a crucial element and will be assessed through a written application.
- Written Application: Your application must include a written statement consisting of two parts, each approximately 1,000 words:
- Part 1: Previous SR Involvement: Outline your past personal social responsibility (SR) involvement (e.g., community-based projects, volunteering, fundraising activities) and explain how they are linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Part 2: Future SR Development: Explain how you could further develop yourself and help develop other students in the school and university to become socially responsible graduates. This should also include your understanding of the key attributes of "socially responsible graduates."
- Undergraduate Study at AMBS: You must be starting an undergraduate degree program at Alliance Manchester Business School in September 2025.
Specific Eligibility for International Students:
- Foundation Year (Specific Case): One of the three international scholarships is specifically awarded to a student who has successfully completed an international foundation year at an INTO, NCUK, or other approved foundation year provider prior to starting their studies at Alliance MBS in September 2025
