The Edgar Pye Research Scholarship was established in memory of R. Edgar Pye, former President of the Society of Feed Technologists, to fund impactful research in the animal feed industry. Managed by the Society, the scholarship is awarded annually to support innovative student and professional research in animal nutrition, feed production, and marketing.

Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be currently studying agriculture or a related subject, or
- Be employed in the UK/Irish animal feed industry
- Be residents of the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland
Selection Process
Applicants will be assessed based on their ability to:
- Identify a relevant and timely research area
- Develop a strong, clear proposal with well-researched sources
- Provide a detailed and realistic project budget
- Present their proposal clearly and according to the rules
