The Southampton University Corporate Civil Engineering Scheme (SUCCESS) offers:

• an annual bursary of £1,650 
• a summer work placement that lets you apply what you’ve learned and get valuable experience 
• mentoring from a senior engineer in your sponsoring company

Requirements

• The applicant must be a first-, second-, or third-year undergraduate Civil Engineering student.
• The applicant must work at least 8 to 10 weeks for the sponsoring employer during summer vacation.
• The applicant must submit a progress report for the sponsor each term.
• The applicant must achieve at least a 60 percent average in the degree each year.

How To Apply

If you’re a first, second or third-year Civil Engineering student, you’ll be invited to apply for SUCCESS in either October or November.
