Successful applicants will receive an award of between £600 and £2,100
Requirements
You can apply for the Student Success Scholarship if you:
- are fully enrolled,
- are studying an undergraduate, PGCE or integrated masters course,
- have 'home' fee status,
- are paying a 2025/26 tuition fee of £9,535, or the foundation year fee of £5,760, or the part-time equivalent (this can be self-funded or through a student loan),
- have been means tested by a UK student funding body (such as Student Finance England),
- have a household income of £62,377 or less, and
- have consented to share your household income with the University as part of the means testing process.
Although you need to be means tested, you do not have to take out a maintenance loan to be eligible. If you cannot be means tested, please let us know by contacting Hallam Help.
You are not eligible for this scholarship if:
- you receive a teacher education scholarship/bursary,
- you receive an NHS Training Grant or Social Work Bursary, or
- it would negatively affect your eligibility for another scholarship/bursary.
If you receive benefits and/or any other financial support, it is your responsibility to check whether receiving an award will affect your entitlement(s)/payments.
