Keele University is now accepting applications for its prestigious Leverhulme Doctoral Scholarships Programme under the theme Sustainable Rural Futures (SURF). This five-year fully funded programme combines a one-year master's degree followed by four years of doctoral study, offering a unique interdisciplinary training pathway for ambitious researchers interested in sustainability and rural futures.
Full Tuition Fees:
100% of Home-rate tuition for the 1-year master's programme
100% of Home-rate tuition for 4 years of PhD study
Stipend Support:
Fully funded stipend for the entire 5-year period
Research Opportunities:
Participate in interdisciplinary, community-led research in partnership with major UK rural stakeholders
Training and Supervision:
Access to Keele's coCREATE collaborative research network and doctoral academy
Must apply through the Leverhulme Studentship Route
