For students with Ordinary Residence in Sri Lanka aspiring to study at Swansea University, the Sri Lanka Bursary offers a fantastic opportunity. For the 2025/26 academic year, eligible full-time taught programme students can receive a £6,000 tuition fee discount for their first year of study. Undergraduate students may also be eligible for a £2,000 progression bursary in subsequent years. The Swansea University Sri Lanka Bursary is a £6000 reduction in tuition fees for the first year of study.

Requirements

  • You must be classified as an overseas student for fee purposes.
  • You must be fully self-funding your studies.
  • Your Ordinary Residence must be in Sri Lanka. You must have been domiciled in Sri Lanka for the last 5 years, excluding time spent studying elsewhere.
  • You must be enrolling on to a full-time taught course at Swansea University in the academic year 2025/26.
  • Your chosen programme must be one of the following: BA, BEng, BSc, LLB, MA, MEng, MBA, MSc, PGCE, LLM, MPharm, MBBCH.
  • Your course fees must be £16,000 or higher per year.
