Swansea University Thrive Bursary 2025

Swansea University is pleased to offer Thrive Bursaries to support international students commencing their studies in the 2025/26 academic year. These bursaries, valued at £4,000, are available as a tuition fee discount for the first year of study for eligible full-time taught programmes. To be considered for a Thrive Bursary, applicants must be classified as overseas students for fee purposes, be fully self-funding, and hold Ordinary Residence in one of the specified countries. Requirements

• You must be classified as an overseas student for fee purposes.
• You must be fully self-funding your studies.
• Your Ordinary Residence must be in one of the following countries (and you must have been domiciled there for the last 5 years, excluding time spent studying elsewhere):

• You must be enrolling on to a full-time taught course at Swansea University in the academic year 2025/26.
• Your chosen programme must be one of the following: BA, BEng, BSc, LLB, MA, MEng, MBA, MSc, MRes, PGCE, LLM, MPharm, MBBCH.
• Your course fees must be £16,000 or higher.
• You must not be enrolled on a Foundation or Pre-Masters course, and you are not eligible if you are progressing from these courses at The College Swansea University.
