Each year, BASC awards scholarships to students studying, or about to begin their studies, on further and higher education courses related to conservation, land management or gamekeeping.
There are two scholarships offered by BASC, the BASC Legacy Funded Scholarship and the BASC Wildlife Fund David Gray Conservation Scholarship. Both 2025 programmes are now open for applications

Requirements
- Be UK citizens
- Be current BASC members or have an immediate family member who is a BASC member
- Be enrolled or planning to enroll in an eligible course of study
Selection Process
Applicants will be evaluated based on:
- Relevance of course to conservation, land management, or gamekeeping
- Demonstrated passion for countryside management
- Need for financial assistance
- Academic and/or professional goals aligned with BASC’s mission
Application Documents
- Completed application form (via BASC website)
- Personal statement or motivation letter
- Proof of course enrollment or offer
- Evidence of BASC membership (self or family)
