The Kyle Scholarship at Queen's University Belfast 2025-2026

This postgraduate scholarship has been established by Terence Kyle, former chief executive of Linklaters.  Terence Kyle was educated at Christ's College, Cambridge University, graduating with an MA in Classics and Law in 1969.

Requirements

To be eligible for the scholarship an applicant must:

• be a student from Northern Ireland and;
• have received an offer of study for the postgraduate LLM International Commercial and Business Law programme in the School of Law.

Selection Process

The award will be made on the basis of the application submitted and the highest overall final degree mark.

Applicants for the Kyle Scholarship should also submit a written statement outlining, in not more than 750 words:

• why they want to undertake the LLM International Commercial and Business Law at Queen's and;
• what they hope to achieve through this opportunity and the impact they think this will have on their career and/or future ambitions.

This statement should be submitted to [email protected] by the stipulated deadline.

The award will be made on the basis of the application submitted and the highest overall final degree mark.
