The Lady Eileen McDonald EU & International Student fund is to assist EU and International students with one-off, unforeseen emergencies that cannot be met through their savings, income, or sponsorship. The fund is not to replace, or top up, the ongoing funds required to cover living costs whilst studying in the UK.
Helps with the amount ranging from £300 - £500, which covers equipment and study costs, Living costs, Travel costs.
Registered students at the University of Strathclyde shall be eligible to apply to the Fund if they meet the following criteria:
The level of award will be assessed on a case-to-case basis. Awards are around £300-£500 and are to meet immediate short-term living costs. Because of this the fund cannot replace a regular income, savings, or a sponsor. Awards will normally be made in the form of a grant.
