The Oxford-Dowding Graduate Scholarship is available for applicants who are applying to any full or part-time Humanities graduate course at Oxford, within the range accepted by Wadham College. This scholarship has been made possible through the support of the University and David Dowding, who read Oriental Studies at Wadham in 1967, and is now pleased to ensure that future generation of Humanities students can receive the same quality of teaching that he enjoyed.
The scholarship covers course fees and a grant for living costs for the duration of the course equivalent to an UKRI stipend (£20,780 in 2025-26, to increase in 2026-27). Awards are made for the full duration of your fee liability for the agreed course.
