The Rani Scholarship at University of Bradford 2026

This top scholarship will support four female students each year, who are facing disadvantage, to study and succeed at university in subjects and industries where they are most underrepresented.

Benefits

  • International students will receive a 50% discount on their tuition fees.
  • Home students will be paid a yearly stipend of £6,930, increasing by 5% each year.

Requirements

Home Students must:

  • Identify as a female
  • Have an unconditional/conditional offer on one of the above courses
  • Meet one of the hardship criteria outlined in the application form - these are: 
    • Refugee and asylum seeker
    • Care leaver
    • Disabled
    • Low participation background as defined by polar4 quintile 1 and 2
    • Socio-economic disadvantage
  • Reside at a Bradford postcode

International Students must:

  • Identify as a female

  • Meet one of the hardship criteria outlined in the application form - these are: 
    • Refugee and asylum seeker
    • Disabled
    • Other forms of hardship will also be considered
