The Scholarships are for one year only and are open to students registered on any STEM subject degree, who are interested in pursuing a career in the UK Maritime Defence Sector.

Requirements
- The Scholarships are for one year only and are open to students registered on any STEM subject degree, who are interested in pursuing a career in the UK Maritime Defence Sector.
- The Scholarships are only available to students studying at UK universities and colleges.
Selection Process
Successful applicants will be called for interview before final selection as a UKNEST Scholar.

- Applicants are required to submit a Cover Letter and CV and answer the following essay question (maximum 500 words):
- “Inspired by the high-speed thrills of Formula 1, a new international racing series is being established but now set underwater with high-performance submersibles taking to the track. As part of the design team, you are tasked with outlining the main design considerations for these submersibles to ensure they are competitive and safe.”
