Benefits

The award provides £9,535 per year for up to 4 years undergraduate programme and is subject to satisfactory academic progress. The award will be applied to tuition fees. If the student is starting with the Engineering Foundation Year, where the fees are £6000, the remainder will go towards living costs in that year.

Requirements

Eligible candidates must:

  • be domiciled in the UK with Home fee status;
  • be from a disadvantaged background;
  • be a female student on an undergraduate degree at UCL within Electronic and Electrical Engineering Department, including students enrolled on the Engineering Foundation Year, BEng programmes.

Interview Dates and Process

The criterion for awarding the bursary is financial need and you will need to demonstrate this in the application.

The UGFAs will be awarded by recommendation by a panel composed of UCL staff. The successful candidates will be notified as soon as decisions are made by mid-September.

3.    You are now on the funding page. To find out which funds you are eligible to apply for click 'Check and apply' under ‘Funds Available’.
4.    Click on the scholarship name of the scheme that you wish to apply for (Chris Seymour Bursary)
