The MyWorld Scholarship aims to support home fee-paying students who are from under-represented groups in Higher Education to access taught postgraduate study linked to the creative technologies industry. This scholarship includes courses at the University of Bristol, Bath Spa University, University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) and the University of Bath
Awards of up to £5,000 (pro-rata for the amount of credit they are studying) will be paid against the student’s tuition fees for a postgraduate taught degree programme as a fee reduction/waiver.
You must be a home (UK) fee-paying student.
You must be from an underrepresented group in Higher Education.
You must hold an offer for a postgraduate taught programme at the University of Bath starting in the 2025/26 academic year.
Your programme of study must be linked to the creative technologies industry.
You may be studying full-time or part-time.
The scholarship is valid only for the 2025/26 academic year, even if your course extends beyond one year.
If you are already in a multi-year programme, you may reapply in subsequent years, but each application will be considered afresh.
New part-time students beginning in 2025/26 will not be able to reapply in future years, as 2025/26 is the final year of the MyWorld Scholarship scheme.
Before you can apply for the Scholarship, you must already be holding an offer of study starting in the academic year 2025/26.
Application for the MyWorld Scholarships is via completion of the following MyWorld Scholarship application form 2025/26 only – any other types of application will not be accepted.
All applications must have been completed and submitted by 09:00 on Thursday 21 August 2025.
