Requirements
To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:
- Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible
- Achieve an IB Diploma score of 33 points or more, or A level grades of ABB or higher
- Applying for the first year of an undergraduate course at level 4 (first year) starting in the 2026/27 academic year. Applicants applying for level 5 or 6 are not eligible as they would not be entering on the basis of their A level or IB results, but would be eligible for the VC’s Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Applicants for the International Foundation Year would not be eligible, but would receive the International Foundation Year Scholarship.
- Only international A levels administered by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), Oxford AQA, Edexcel (Pearson), and Learning Resource Network (LRN) are eligible for this award, including the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advanced Level. All A levels taken in the UK are eligible. No other equivalents are accepted.
