Scholarship benefits includes full fee funding and a £19,237 stipend to cover living costs.

Requirements

• You must be applying for a postgraduate research degree (e.g., PhD).

• You must intend to start your research programme in September 2025.

• The scholarship is available for full-time study, although some faculties may also consider part-time applications.

• Scholarships are open across all faculties, including:

  • Arts

  • Social Sciences and Law

  • Health and Life Sciences

  • Science and Engineering

• Each faculty has its own application process—some may require a personal statement or additional documents.

• You must submit your application by the specific deadline set by the faculty—these vary, so early preparation is encouraged.

• It is strongly recommended to contact a prospective supervisor within your subject area before applying.
