The University of Cambridge is calling for applications for this fully funded PhD programme, which is supported by the BBSRC Doctoral Landscape Awards. An offer of a place will include full funding of your stipend (currently £20,780 for the academic year 2025-2026) as well as university fees.

Requirements

  • Applicants for this course should have achieved a UK Good II.i Honours Degree.
  • If your degree is not from the UK, please check International Qualifications to find the equivalent in your country.
  • UK and overseas students who have, or are expecting to attain, at least an upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific subject, are invited to apply. The interdisciplinary nature of many of the projects available and the training modules which are offered mean that in addition to biologically qualified applicants, we also welcome applications from applicants with physical science and mathematical backgrounds who are interested in using their skills to address biological questions.
