The Bright Futures Postgraduate Scholarship at the University of East Anglia (UEA) is designed to support UK-based students in funding their Master’s degree. Recognizing the financial concerns that can accompany postgraduate study, this scholarship provides a £2,000 tuition fee reduction to help eligible students take their next academic step. UEA is committed to helping students reach their full potential while encouraging them to make a unique and meaningful contribution to university life. This scholarship is available to self-funded UK students enrolling on eligible postgraduate taught programs starting in September 2025.
A £2,000 reduction in tuition fees for eligible postgraduate taught programmes.
Nationality & Residency:
Must be a UK citizen, or a citizen of the Channel Islands or Isle of Man.
Must be eligible for ‘home’ fee status.
Self-Funded:
You must be fully self-funded for the entire duration of the course.
This includes funding through personal savings, government loans, or support from friends/family.
Eligible Courses:
You must be applying for a Postgraduate Taught programme at UEA.
Exclusions: The following courses are not eligible:
MBA
MSc Global Plant Health
MSc Plant Genetics and Crop Improvement
Foundation, Pre-Masters
Integrated Master’s
Postgraduate Certificate
Graduate Diploma
Postgraduate Diploma programmes
All submitted applications will be reviewed by a panel, and successful candidates will be notified by week commencing 29 July 2025.
