The University of East Anglia International PG Merit Scholarship is open for applications. This scholarship is an automatic award for students paying overseas fees joining an eligible postgraduate programme at UEA.

Benefits
This award is worth:
- £4,000 - if you achieve the equivalent of UK 2:2 bachelor’s degree classification*
- £5,000 - if your final undergraduate grade is equivalent to at least UK 2:1 bachelor’s degree classification*
- *Grade equivalences can be found on our country pages.
- Amounts will be deducted from your tuition fees, in line with terms and conditions.
Requirements
- Applicants must be an international student paying International Fees
- Applicants must be applying to study a Masters course for the 2026 session
- The following courses are not eligible:
- Any MBBS course
- Integrated Masters
- MSc Global Plant Health
- MSc Plant Genetics and Crop Improvement
- MSc Occupational Therapy
- MSc Phsyiotherapy
- Norwich Business School MSc applicants will be offered an additional £1,000 scholarship excluding students joining from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, and the USA.
- Where a programme is two years in length, the scholarship will be offered for the first year only.
