The successful applicants of the University of Edinburgh - John Orr Research Awards in the UK, 2024 will receive a prize of up to GBP 2,300 per year.

Requirements

• John Orr Research Award is available to graduates of the University of Edinburgh.
• Applicants must be registered for an intermediate or higher degree in the University or will be registered.
• The award to granted for research in any romance literature, language, or dialect.
• Applicants working on language studies will be given preferences.

Interview Dates and Process

• Two references.
• The candidate's CV must be submitted.
• Research Proposal.
• Outline the current methodology and an explanation as to why it is important and authentic.
• Statement of financial support currently received or applied and its duration.
