University of Glasgow 2024 Gordon Studentship in American Studies

Each year the Centre for American Studies offers several modest partial fees-only American Studies postgraduate studentships at the university. These studentships are available to UK students, EU nationals and applicants from outside the EU wishing to study any aspect of American Studies at Masters level, including the American Studies MLitt and American Modern Literature MLitt, or at PhD level, with American Studies broadly defined, encompassing American culture, history and literature.

Requirements

• The University of Glasgow is offering Gordon Studentships, 2024 to students of selected nations who are interested in pursuing American Studies at the University.
• Applicants of Gordon Studentships, 2024 must have received either a conditional or an unconditional offer for the Taught MLitt or the Ph.D. in American Studies.
• These studentships are available to UK students, EU nationals, and applicants from outside the EU wishing to study any aspect of American Studies

Applications should consist of a letter of application and a writing sample of c2000 words. Please note that you must have made an application to the University of Glasgow by the Gordon studentship deadline. Gordon applications should be emailed to [email protected]
