This is a £10,000 postgraduate studentship awarded to support Master's students in Celtic and Gaelic Studies at the University of Glasgow, with preference for those from the Scottish Highlands and Western Isles, or those passionate about the field and pursuing careers in teaching, education, or research.
Up to £10,000 available for the 2025–26 academic year.
Applicants must:
Be accepted into a Master’s programme in Celtic and Gaelic Studies at the University of Glasgow.
Show financial need related to tuition and/or living costs.
Be pursuing or intending to pursue a career in teaching, education, or research.
Preferably be from the Highlands and Western Isles of Scotland, though others are eligible if they demonstrate a strong interest in the field.
