University of Greenwich Sir William Boreman's Foundation Grant 2025

The University of Greenwich in partnership with Sir William Boreman is offering grants to students who are permanent residents of Greenwich and Lewisham to study undergraduate or postgraduate courses on a full-time or part-time basis.

These grants can be used for daily living costs, travel, and books / equipment for your course.

Benefits

Grants of up to £3,000 may be awarded to individual applicants in further or higher education. Students studying for two or three years can reapply for each year of their course providing they meet the eligibility criteria.

Requirements

You will need to meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Sir William Boreman's Foundation bursary:

  • You are a permanent resident in Greenwich or Lewisham (for at least five years)
  • You are under 25 years old.
  • Your household income is below £30,000 per year.
  • You are a UK national or have 'Settled' status under the Immigration Act 1971 (i.e. there are no restrictions on how long you can stay in the UK).
