University of Hull UK 2024 Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Bursaries

A number of £10,000 scholarships are available from the university to help students from wider backgrounds pursue the MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The scholarship is intended for full-time study in the academic year 2023–2024.

Requirements for University of Hull Masters Scholarship Qualification

The Office for Students (OfS) of the University of Hull has granted scholarships to the recipients, who are financed by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) and the Office for Artificial Intelligence (OAI). The Government/Office for Students has decided the qualifying requirements listed below, which are a prerequisite for the grant award. The University of Hull has not established the criterion.

  • The applicant should be a UK national or Irish citizen or have settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme or indefinite leave to remain.
  • Applicant normally lives in England.
  • Applicant should have  been living in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man for 3 years in a row before the first day of the first academic year of your course

OR 

  • The student is a refugee (including family members)
  • The student has humanitarian protection (including family members)
  • If the student is a stateless person (including family members)

When reviewing your application, we will look at personal circumstances, widening participation criteria and take into account academic background, achievements and excellence. All decisions on scholarships are both discretionary and final.?

This is a competitive scholarship scheme, and eligibility for the scholarship does not guarantee an award. The Faculty of Science and Engineering will review all applications to generate a ranked list.
