Requirements
- If you are domiciled in an African country, you could qualify for our Kent Future Student Scholarship, worth £3,000.
- Open to postgraduate taught applicants of full-time UK programmes.
- Applicants must have paid their tuition fee deposit by 5th December, 2025 for a £3,000 discount*.
- This scholarship is for students beginning their degrees in January 2026 only.
- Please note that this scholarship is only available to students assessed as self-funded overseas fee payers who are paying fees directly to the University of Kent.
- Applicants who have applied for a Masters which includes an integrated pre-Masters are not eligible to receive the scholarship.
- Applicants who have applied for distance learning programmes are not eligible.
- Applicants who have applied for a PCert or PDip programme are not eligible.
- This award is not stackable unless the applicant is coming to us through a progression agreement, in which case both the Kent Future Students Africa Scholarship - Postgraduate Taught and progression discount can be awarded. Should you apply for a higher value scholarship and be successful then you will receive the higher value award. The Kent Future Students Africa Scholarship - Postgraduate Taught will then be retracted.
- This award is also open to international students who are normally domiciled in an eligible country, but who are currently resident in the UK for purposes of study.
- *Please note that these deadlines cannot be extended under any circumstances.
