University of Leicester 2024/25 International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship

In recognition of the high standard of applications which we receive for our Master's degrees we are delighted to offer an international merit scholarship.This merit-based scholarship, worth at least £3,000 per year, is offered to international-fee-paying students applying for a postgraduate taught degree at the University of Leicester. A higher-level award of £5,000 will be made to applicants demonstrating exceptional academic performance.

Benefits

This merit-based scholarship, worth at least £3,000 per year, is offered to international-fee-paying students applying for a postgraduate taught degree at the University of Leicester. A higher-level award of £5,000 will be made to applicants demonstrating exceptional academic performance.

Requirements

• For fees, the applicant must be considered an international student.
• The candidate must be in a full-time, on-campus Master's program or postgraduate certificate program in September 2024, January 2025, and April 2025.
• The standard tuition for each year of the student's education will be the foundation for calculating the fee discount.
• The grant will not be awarded during exchange or industrial placement programs, retake years, or times of academic suspension.
• As per the requirements for scholarships, students are only permitted to have a single University of Leicester scholarship. A student will only be given the scholarship with the greatest value if they are awarded multiple scholarships.
• Students who currently have a conditional offer of admission to the university must still fulfil all requirements listed in their offer letter.
