Requirements

To receive this scholarship, you'll need to:

• have a First Class or equivalent undergraduate degree. Check the equivalent for your country
• pay tuition fees for the course yourself at the international rate
• be joining a full or part-time postgraduate taught master’s course, including MRes, at our Liverpool campus in the academic year 2026/27
• accept your offer of a place and pay your tuition fee deposit by the advertised deadlines

New international students, as well as current University of Liverpool international students, are eligible for this scholarship. This includes:

• undergraduate students
• study abroad and exchange students
• students who have completed a University of Liverpool degree at Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University
• international alumni of the University.

We won't be able to offer you this scholarship if you:

• studied a Pre-master’s course at the University of Liverpool International College
• are having your fees paid by a sponsor, such as a government, commercial organisation or employer, on your behalf
• are joining a PGCert, Professional Doctorate (including DDSc awards), MPhil, MArch, or PhD.
