The University of London is proud to launch the University of London Scholarship for Women in Africa, a new global initiative which aims to promote gender diversity in technology fields and to support learners from underrepresented geographies in STEM subjects.
New for the 2026-27 academic year, these awards are designed to empower women across Africa to earn a prestigious University of London degree online and build a future in the world’s most in-demand industries.
We will award up to eight scholarships of £7,000 each to exceptional female candidates residing in Africa.
To be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships you must meet the following criteria:
• You must hold an offer of a place on the BSc Business Administration, BSc Computer Science, BSc?Psychology, MSc?Computer Science, LLM?(PG Laws) or Global MBA?programmes only (standard entry only where this applies and performance based admission is not eligible).
• Be a new student commencing the programme in the 2026/27 academic year
• Be female and resident in an African country
• Explain the impact that the scholarship will have on your ability to successfully complete the degree
• Can confirm that the cost of the fees that are not covered by the scholarship can be covered
