University of Manchester Division of Cancer Sciences PhD Studentship 2026

Subscribe for Scholarship Alert!

This exciting PhD project offers the opportunity to help not only investigate patterns of environmental exposure and differences in cancer treatment outcomes, but to also understand the pollutant causes of the observed inequalities needed to develop effective interventions to address them.

The project will lever a new and powerful data resource linking anonymised data detailing the diagnosis, treatment and outcome (survival, treatment toxicities, quality of life) of patients treated at a large specialist cancer centre to longitudinal environmental exposure data from research funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC).
