University of Strathclyde Access Bursary 2025

The University of Strathclyde Access Bursary is awarded to new undergraduate students from England, Northern Ireland and Wales who enter the University in the current academic year and pay a tuition fee of £9,535 per year. When assessing bursary entitlement, the University will use the household income figure calculated by Student Finance England, Wales or Northern Ireland.

Bursary of up to £3,000 per year of study

Requirements

The Bursary is awarded to new undergraduate students from England, Northern Ireland and Wales who enter the University in the current academic year and pay a tuition fee of £9,535 per year. When assessing bursary entitlement, the University will use the household income figure calculated by Student Finance England, Wales or Northern Ireland.

 Payment of the Bursary is subject to your registration and ongoing attendance on your course.

How To Apply

  • Eligible students will be identified automatically through their application to Student Finance England, Wales or Northern Ireland.
  • If you are eligible you will receive a letter to the address held by the Student Loan Company (SLC) (usually your home address). This will be sent once your household income has been confirmed by SLC.
  • The letter will include the level of award and the payment dates. The payments will be made into the same bank account as your student loan.
