University of Strathclyde Business School Dean's Excellence award for International Students (September 2025)

Strathclyde Business School is pleased to announce its first round of Dean's Excellence Awards for the upcoming September 2025 intake.  We invite applicants who hold an offer of a place on a September 2025 SBS MSc programme and are classified as international for fee status, to apply.

Benefits

The scholarships will range from £9,000 to £12,000 depending on the specific subject area and course fees.

Requirements

• Candidates must be self-funded (ie. not in receipt of any funding from any other scholarships, employer sponsorship, etc) and already hold an offer of a place on an SBS MSc programme for the September 2025 intake and also be deemed International with regards to Fee Status.

• Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.

• Online and blended learning programmes are not eligible for these scholarships.

• Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis from February 2025 onwards and the deadline for consideration of applications will be 31st July 2025. 

• Strathclyde Business School's decision on the awarding of scholarships is final.

Candidates interested in applying should provide a maximum 1000 word statement demonstrating, through their ideas, experience and future career plans (including their reasoning for joining their chosen programme and why they should be awarded this scholarship.  

Scholarship awardees will also be expected to engage with a variety of activities during their course of study, including:

• Monitoring and contributing to future applicant forums and responding with information regarding the relevant course
• Taking an active role in either the social committee or class rep committee
• Volunteering as an admissions contact for prospective students
• Assisting the school in the development and management of events
• Retaining alumni communication post MSc completion

You must have an offer to study a Full Time Postgraduate course with Strathclyde Business School before applying for a scholarship. Any incorrect or false application numbers entered will render the application ineligible for consideration*
