The Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences is delighted to offer a number of Deans Excellence scholarships worth £5,000 per year of study to international students joining one of our Undergraduate programmes in September 2026.
The scholarships will be awarded automatically upon confirmation of payment of the deposit, and this must be paid by the scholarship deadline. All eligible international offer holders will automatically be considered for a scholarship, therefore, no separate scholarship application is required.

Requirements
- The Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences' scholarships are only open for self-funded, international fee-paying applicants enrolling on a full-time programme in September 2026
- All international offer holders will be automatically considered for an award.
- Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.
- £5,000 will be awarded for each year of study.
- To receive their scholarship, awardees must enrol in studies commencing in September 2026 and continue to meet all of the above eligibility criteria.
- Scholarship recipients will be expected to engage with student ambassador activities during their course of study, such as supporting student recruitment activities and events.
- The Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences’ decision on the awarding of scholarships is final.
