Requirements

• You must be a 'home' student applying for an eligible course
• You must be a first-year, full-time student applying to start your studies in autumn 2025
• You must have been selected within the last 18 months to compete at Regional, National or International level
• You must participate in a sport recognised by BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport)

Interview Dates and Process

Applicants will be assessed based on the following:

1. Level of Competition
   You must have been selected within the past 18 months to compete at Regional, National, or International level in basketball.

2. Sport Eligibility
   You must be competing in a sport that is recognized by BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport).

3. Academic Eligibility
   You must be a first-year undergraduate student, starting a full-time eligible course in autumn 2025, and classified as a ‘home’ student for tuition purposes.

4. Potential for Contribution
   Preference may be given to applicants who demonstrate strong potential to contribute to the university’s basketball programme and represent the institution competitively.
