The Literature and Languages Undergraduate Scholarship (2024 entry) is open to UK offer-holders for first year entry to Bachelor degree courses in the School of Literature and Languages at the University of Surrey. Successful applicants will demonstrate academic excellence and a passion for their subject area. The scheme is application based and awards are decided by a scholarship awards panel.
The University of Surrey is a public research university located within the county town of Guildford, Surrey, in the South East of England, United Kingdom. The university specialises in science, engineering, medicine and business. It received its charter on 9 September 1966, and was previously situated near Battersea Park in south-west London. The institution was known as Battersea College of Technology before gaining university status. The scholarship is awarded as a £5,000 accommodation fee waiver or cash award in the first year of studies only.
The scholarship is application based. Surrey offer-holders may apply online.
Applications open 1 November 2023. Applications are reviewed monthly starting in November 2023 and will be reviewed more regularly between January and April 2024. You must have made your course application through UCAS by 31 January 2024. Applications for this scholarship will close on 30 April 2024. You must have an offer from the University to complete the Scholarship application form. Applications without a valid student ID/UCAS ID and offer will not be assessed.
