Requirements
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must have either:

- Graduated from Sussex with a Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree
- Previously completed a Sussex Summer School programme
- Previously attended the University as a Visiting or Exchange student
Applicants must have also accepted an offer of a place on an eligible Masters course to start in September 2025.
You are not eligible for this scholarship if you:
- Are applying for a Masters at a university that is not at the University of Sussex
- Are progressing into the final year of an integrated Masters at Sussex
- Studied at one of our partner institutions (i.e. BIMM or International Study Centre)
- Studied at a UK University’s overseas campus or external programme
- Already hold another University of Sussex scholarship (i.e. Chancellor's Masters Scholarship)
- Are studying one of the Excluded courses listed below.
- Certificates and Diplomas (including PGCE)
- Courses at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS)
- Courses at IDS
- Early Years Education (with Early Years Teacher status)
- Degrees in Social Work (if receiving an NHS bursary)
- Online courses
- Schools direct teaching courses
- Masters funded by the research councils (e.g. ESRC 1+3 funding)
