University of the Arts Gaudio Family Foundation Scholarship 2025

Requirements

  • Be classified as an international student for fee purposes

  • Be accepted onto the full-time MA Fashion Futures course at the London College of Fashion, UAL, starting in September 2025

Results will be announced at the end of August 2025.

Application Documents

  • Online Application Form

    • Completed via the Funding tab on the UAL Student Portal.

  • Electronic Portfolio (One PDF, max 20MB)

    • Title page with your full name and course title

    • Introduction (max 500 words) explaining your work, inspiration, and methodology

    • For image-based work:

      • Up to 15 pages of images

      • Each image numbered, dated, and labelled (include title, size, materials used)

    • For theory-based work:

      • Submit an essay or written project you consider your best

    • Mixed portfolios combining images and writing are also allowed

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Résumé

  • Evidence of Household Income
    (Translated copies required if not in English)
    Examples include:

    • Student’s bank statements (last 3 months)

    • Parent’s or partner’s payslips (last 3 months)

    • Annual tax returns or statements

    • Proof of other scholarships or financial support

    • Investment/bond/savings documentation (for student or parent/partner)

  • Evidence of Medical Condition (if applicable)

    • Recent doctor’s or hospital letters (signed and dated within the last 3 months)

  • Evidence of Financial Hardship (if applicable)

    • Overdraft statements

    • Overdue rent/bills

    • Debt collection or bailiff letters

How To Apply

To apply for the Gaudio Family Foundation Scholarship, follow the steps below carefully:

  1. Complete the Online Application Form

    • Log in to the UAL Student Portal.

    • Navigate to the Funding tab.

    • Fill out and submit the Gaudio Family Foundation Scholarship online application form.

  2. Upload the Required Supporting Documents
    Along with the application form, you must upload the following documents via the Student Portal:

    A. Electronic Portfolio (as one PDF file, max 20MB)

    Your portfolio should reflect your best work and must include:

    B. Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Résumé

    C. Evidence of Household Income

    Provide documents such as:

    If you're a dependent, include your parent/guardian's income; if you're independent, include your partner’s income.
    Documents not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation.

    D. Medical Evidence (if applicable)

    E. Evidence of Financial Hardship (if applicable)

    • A title page with your full name and course title

    • An introduction (maximum 500 words) explaining your work, creative process, and inspiration

    • For image-based courses:

      • Up to 15 pages of images

      • Each image numbered, dated, and clearly labelled (include title, size, materials if applicable)

    • For theory-based courses:

      • Submit an essay or written project you consider your best work

    • You may combine both image-based and theory-based content if necessary

    • Student’s bank statements (last 3 months)

    • Parent’s or partner’s pay slips (last 3 months)

    • Annual tax statements

    • External scholarship notifications (if applicable)

    • Details of savings, investments, or bonds

    • Doctor’s or hospital letters dated within the last 3 months

    • Translated if not in English

    • Overdrafts, overdue rent letters, debt collection notices, etc.

    • Clearly show unexpected financial difficulty (not regular bills)

    • Translated if not in English

  3. Trouble Uploading Files?
    If you face technical issues with uploading to the Student Portal, submit your documents via the online enquiry form.
