All students from the United Kingdom will receive a guaranteed and automatic £5,000 tuition fee discount, when accepted on to one of our full-time WMG Master's courses.

Benefits of £5,000 tuition fee discount

Requirements

  • Students must have an offer to study on one of the WMG full-time MSc courses, to start studies in September 2024.
  • Students must be classified as home fee payers and be a national of the United Kingdom.
  • Students should be self-funded or part-funded.

Bursary holders may also be considered for a WMG Excellence ScholarshipLink opens in a new window (for the chance to receive a total of up to 50% tuition fee discount). Please ensure you submit your scholarship application within four weeks of receiving your offer. If successful, your scholarship will supersede your bursary. Two WMG awards cannot be given to the same student.

Students Entry requirements

  • In order to meet our academic entry requirements, you should have obtained a UK First or Upper Second Class Honours Degree (2:1) or equivalent. You can check international degree equivalencies on the university's Country Information pagesLink opens in a new window
  • Non-native speakers of English will need to provide a suitable English qualification.
  • Many of our courses require a STEM or business management related background, but there are also courses open to graduates from other disciplines. Please check the 'entry requirements' tab on individual course pages for the requirements of your chosen programme.
  • Whilst work experience is beneficial, it is not a pre-requisite. We are happy to consider applications from recent graduates and those in their final year of studies, as well as candidates with professional experience.
  • Candidates with a UK 2:2 (or equivalent) may be accepted if they have relevant professional experience. We will usually be looking for at least two years relevant postgraduate experience to compensate for lower academic grades. If you have a 2:2 and wish to be considered, please ensure you include your CV with your application.

 

Application Documents

  • A completed application form and £75 application fee*.
  • Your Personal Statement
  • Your Bachelor's degree transcript (marksheet) and degree certificate. If you are still studying, please send us your transcripts to date. If you are offered a place on the course, we will then require you to upload your final transcript and certificate in order to clear your conditions.
  • English test result (if applicable) This can be submitted after you have received an offer.
  • One reference. If you completed your studies less than 2 years ago, this should be an academic reference. If you graduated more than 2 years ago, we will require a professional reference. We contact your referee directly, so please include their valid professional email address on your application form.
  • Candidates with professional experience should include their CV with their application.
