University of West England is pleased to announce the Widening Participation Postgraduate Progression Scholarship.
The objective of this new scholarship is to support current widening participation students to progress to any of our postgraduate taught provision (MSc and MRes courses, part time or full time), subject to meeting entry requirements. This scheme will comprise of two 50% fees bursaries a year for home students meeting the widening participation criteria.
This scheme aligns to the aspirations of Science 2030 and increasing diversity of the School of Applied Sciences (AS) community and better supporting students from differing backgrounds. It enhances the UWE Bristol focus on reducing widening participation attainment gaps.
Recipients of the scholarship will not be eligible for the Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship or the alumni discount. In addition, recipients will be expected to contribute to promoting student engagement initiatives in the school, such as ‘Scientists like me scheme’, the DAS employability blog or the DAS social media campaigns.

As part of your application, you will be sent an application form that you will need to complete and send back before the deadline.
