University of York Dean's Global Excellence Scholarship 2026-2027

To reward excellence, the Dean's Global Excellence Scholarship offers a tuition fee discount to talented undergraduate students within the faculties. The scholarships are awarded to international students to support them in achieving their goals at the University of York.

Full tuition fee discount for first year of study; £10,000 tuition fee discount for second and third year of study

Requirements

This scholarship is open to International (including EU) students only.

To be eligible for the Dean's Global Excellence Scholarship, you must

• have a conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University of York by Wednesday 6 May 2026
• be paying fees at the overseas fee rate (any fee assessments must be completed by Wednesday 6 May 2026) 
  intend to study a full-time undergraduate course.

You will not be eligible if

• you hold a 100% tuition fee scholarship or are fully sponsored.

Students on the following pathways are not eligible for these scholarships

• Hull York Medical School
• International Pathway College
• Distance and online learning courses
• Part-time courses
• Kaplan International College London
• Partnership and exchange students (including visiting students)
