About Loughborough University

Loughborough University (abbreviated as Lough for post-nominals) is a public research university located in the market town of Loughborough, Leicestershire, in the East Midlands of England. It has been a university since 1966, but the institution dates back to 1909, when the then Loughborough Technical Institute began with a focus on skills and knowledge which would be directly applicable in the wider world. Aim and Benefits of Loughborough University Masters Scholarship

 

Scholarship amount is 90% of tuition fees which will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account

Requirements for Loughborough University Masters Scholarship Qualification

• Have applied for and be in receipt of an offer from your preferred master's programme at Loughborough University London - not open to the Loughborough campus programmes
• Demonstrate disruptive thinking and a commitment to change in one of our three strategic themes 'Climate Change, Vibrant and Inclusive Communities or Sport, Health and Wellbeing'

Eligible Program:

• All Postgraduate Taught (master's) programmes (full-time) starting October 2024 or January 2025 on our London campus. 

Interview date, Process and Venue for Loughborough University Masters Scholarship

All applications will be read by the team at Loughborough University London. The award is highly competitive and will be given at the discretion of the Dean with the support of the Senior Leadership Team. The Dean's decision is final.

Timeline:

• 31 July 2024 - deadline
• 5 August 2024 - shortlisted candidates contacted and required to attend a video interview
• 6 August 2024 - video interviews
• 9 August 2024 - successful candidate notified
