The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, as determined by application to the School and entrance interview, and individuals who have been offered a place by the University of Aberdeen will be eligible for the scholarships.
Each scholarship is valued at £4,500 per annum for the 5 year duration of the MBChB degree and contributes to the maintenance costs incurred by the student. Should the recipients take a further year of study to complete an intercalated degree at the University of Aberdeen, the scholarships will be extended for the 6 year period.

You should note that only applicants from Hong Kong are eligible to apply for the scholarships. To be considered for the scholarships, you will need to have applied to the University of Aberdeen for a place starting in September 2023 AND you must receive and firmly accept an offer, either conditional or unconditional, of a place at the University. University of Aberdeen Scholarships can only be held by students of the University - they cannot be transferred to other institutions.
