Kings College London STEM Education Teacher Scholarship 2024

The STEM Education Teacher Scholarship is funded by Wipro Limited, a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company.

Wipro highly value STEM educators seeing them as key to the future of innovative STEM learning in schools.

The scholarship is available to students studying on the MA in STEM Education programme who are working in a state-funded school in England (e.g. comprehensive, academy, free school). This includes primary, secondary and FE-levels. They should be a specialist teacher in: Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Design & Technology or Geography and have been teaching for a minimum of 6 months on application. Applicants from those currently completing PGCE programmes will not be considered.

13 scholarships will be available to those commencing their studies in September 2024, for the duration of your studies (max. two years, part-time).

The scholarship will be 70% of the total fees.

The scholarship will be paid directly to support tuition fees only. Please note any residual fee balance will still need to be met by the recipient.

The scholarship is only for students paying home tuition fees.

Requirements

  • Applicants must demonstrate strong commitment and academic performance.
  • Applicant must work in a state-funded school in England (all levels- primary, secondary, and FE-levels.) and must be a specialist teacher in the following courses: Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Design and Technology, or Geography.
  • The applicant must have applied for the MA in STEM Education.
  • Applicants must have been teaching for a minimum of 6 months on application.
