If you have a strong academic record of accomplishment at undergraduate or Masters level, and are highly motivated to pursue a PhD programme in the School of Informatics at The University of Edinburgh, you could be selected to receive a full PhD scholarship.
Applicants who submit a programme application to one of the eligible Informatics PhD programmes will automatically be considered for this scholarship.

Eligible applicants will be considered automatically for the Informatics PhD Scholarship as part of the School’s PGR selection process.
Applicants wishing to be considered for the IGPS (for entry in the academic year 2024/25) must submit a programme application via the EUCLID application portal. The deadlines for submitting an application are:
Round 1
EUCLID application deadline: Friday 24 November 2023
Round 2
EUCLID application deadline: Friday 26 January 2024
Before applying via the EUCLID PhD application form, you should ideally contact an academic supervisor in the School of Informatics, discuss your research interest, and obtain their agreement to supervise you. When you have found a supervisor, you must complete and submit an application for PhD admission in the research institute of your chosen supervisor.
