These fellowships enhance and extend the Oxford MBA’s existing LGBTQ+ network.
The Reaching Out MBA LGBTQ+ Fellowships are a joint effort between Saïd Business School and Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA) to develop the LGBTQ+ and active ally business leaders of tomorrow. This partnership strengthens the School's reputation for inclusivity and helps to increase the number of students interested in promoting the empowerment and representation of LGBTQ+ students in top business schools.
Supported by the Saïd Business School Foundation, we offer exceptional candidates ROMBA Fellowships to support their studies and recognise their efforts to increase equality, diversity and inclusion in their workplaces and communities.
Rhodes Trust is a global organisation and we use our deep connections across the world to bring together people of different backgrounds and viewpoints. As a fellow at Saïd Business School, you will have the opportunity to attend the ROMBA conference and ROMBA Summer Treks.
All MBA applicants are eligible for the fellowship, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
A commitment to, and leadership within, the LGBTQ+ community.
A passion to empower LGBTQ+ classmates and allies.
Intention to be actively involved with Pride@SBS, preferably in a leadership position.
Academic achievement and excellence, demonstrated through degree results, GMAT or GRE score, previous university prizes and awards, and other academic achievements.
Candidates are advised to highlight these attributes in their fellowship essays.
Candidates must submit a complete MBA application and upload the fellowship essay in the 'Funding' section of the programme application form.

There is no fixed application deadline for this scholarship.
All offer holders who have submitted a supporting essay for the ROMBA scholarship will be considered after each MBA admissions deadline. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of this scholarship in our later application stages, so early application to the MBA programme is recommended.
